Antique Effanbee Crybaby Doll. This doll was owned by a family friend who played with her as a child and kept her carefully wrapped up and in a chest for the rest of her life. The arms, legs and head are all composite I think. The torso is cloth with the crying noise maker intact (she still cries). The eyes open and shut. The only markings that I found are on the back of the neck; there is a copyright mark followed by a year that I can't make out and then Effanbee. I know very little about the maker or her potential value. I would just like for her to be cared for and enjoyed
