Eleanor Roosevelt doll by Effanbee 1985

Description

This 14.5 inch doll by Effanbee is not the glamorized version that you may have seen.  She is more true to life wearing a classic "tailored wine colored sut with pearls and a gold colored 'fleur de lis' pin".   She was only available in 1985 and now she is really one of the 'Great Moments in History" which is the name of the series. She is still fastened in her original box and the only thing missing is the fancy buckle on one shoe.  She is number 7642.  She carries her black patent purse (which matches her shoes) in one hand and the hang tag on the other. The box has a tear on one end and has the original see through plastic covered by the perforated cardboard  Please look at the pictures and ask questions before bidding as there is no return on her.  Payment is due two days after the end of the auction.  Upon receipt, I try to ship within two days
