Sotheby's "The Brand Collection (Part 9) Colonial and Indian Coins" June 14th 1985. An outstanding sale of Indian coinage. A total of 366 lots, most superbly photographed. Included at the end of the sale are 3 major rarities from the West Indies, a Haitian 1854 essai 20 Gourdes coins, and two Jamaica countermarked doubloon (realized 18,700 Pounds each !). Almost new condition (except for the small sticker from Baldwin & Sons on the top front cover, including the lists of estimated values and prices realized.
