Russian American
prima ballerina
and teacher. Famous at age 14 as one of the three "
Baby Ballerinas
" of the
Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo
in the 1930s, she matured into an artist whom critics called "the most unusual dancer of her generation."
For auction is this black and white 3.75”x4.75” publicity photo signed by the artist in what appears to be 1987 (?).  The photograph is in very good condition with no holes, rips or creases.  The first few letters of the artist’s signature appear to be smudged.  The photo is printed on a heavy paper stock with a matte finish.
