    Description

    You are bidding on a 7" x 9" sepia mounted photograph inscribed on 9-1/2" x 12" matte of Baron Harold de Bildt (1876-1949 Swedish Ambassador to Egypt.
    The inscription reads "To Alexander Borovsky, a wonderful pianist, a noble interpreter of great music, and a good friend from Harold de Bildt. Cairo, December 21, 1933."
    Baron Harold de Bildt was from a noble family and served c. 1922-1936(?) Swedish Ambassador to Egypt.
    Borovsky had performed often in recital in Cairo during the early 30's.
