    Description

Autographed 6" x 6" album leaf autographed by Vaclav Talich, December 18, 1923, with an inserted original portrait photograph.
Talich (1883-1961) for most of the 20th Century was the most important man in music in Prague.  He led the Czech Philharmonic, ran the National Theatre and had his own chamber orchestra.  His say could make, or break a career.  Some of the greatest orchestral recordings of Czech music were with him at the podium, in particular the Dvorak Slavonic Dances.
